There are numerous ways you can support our work and join the wider community of Alpha. You can receive our organisational updates, donate to projects of your choice or take one of Alpha's employment opportunities.
donate and support
Alpha Communities is primarily funded through generous donations from the general public and grants from other foundations or small governmental programmes. Administrative expenses are kept at minimum levels to allow the money given to Alpha Communities to go directly towards the benefits of the communities themselves.
If you wish to make a donation please click here and indicate your interest and the name of any specific projects you wish to contribute towards. Information on how to donate will then be sent to you as soon as possible.
Alternatively you can contact one of our national boards in the UK, Germany or the Netherlands directly, using the contact details on the "contact us" page. Gifts processed through these offices may be tax deductible.

employment needs...
We have many opportunities for international expatriate and local staff to come and work with Alpha Communities. Most of the international positions are un-salaried. Alpha requests workers to cover their own living costs to maximise the amount of funding that is channelled into projects. However working with Alpha offers the much needed experience to break into work with non-governmental development organisations. We offer internships of up to one year. Community Health Care Worker
To extend our work in Hani Matreal Alpha is looking for two Community Health Care workers to develop a Primary Health Care program with the existing community health care workers. This includes participatory training of health care workers and implementing comprehensive health projects throughout the district. To find out more please click here.
Children's Social Worker
Alpha Communities Mongolia requires a qualified social worker to assist the organisation regarding the care and support of foster children. This position is both for the training of local staff in the different aspects of social care for children and building the capacity of Alpha Communities social support throughout its programmes.
